Before writing my chapter for Turning Point, I think, deep down, I had always secretly dreamed of being a published author. Truthfully, I still do.
Writing has always been a joy for me — words often flow with ease, whether it’s a single sentence or an entire chapter. There's something magical about the creative process, the way language weaves itself together.
To be writing something destined for a real book — something I could hold in my hands, and that others would hold in theirs — felt surreal. A secret dream long held now taking form.
Over the years, people have often complimented my way with words, the way I express myself through writing. But this experience felt like a whole new level. It was vulnerable. Expansive. And yet, perfectly Divine in its timing.
It was during this very period that the bees began calling to me. As I wrote, their whisper grew louder. Crafting this chapter awakened my knowing — I was being called to serve as an oracle for the bees.
My chapter, This Little Light of Mine, weaves a golden thread from childhood to adulthood, capturing the essence of a life coming full circle. It tells of a turning point — a moment that changed everything.
I hope you find resonance within my chapter, and within the book as a whole. Turning Point is a powerful collection of real-life stories, written by women who have each faced a moment of deep transformation. It is potent. Soulful. It speaks to the heart, the mind, and the senses.
A special mention and heartfelt thank you to my dear friend, Adrianne SpiralLight, who inspired me to dance with words — to write, to play, and to trust the beauty of language as it flows.
